Pat Armitstead is no stranger to grief and loss. She lost her home and business twice in 4 years, relocated to another country, repaid $80,000 in 2 years, is a cancer survivor, lost her first child, was a victim of domestic violence, had 10 car accidents in 18 months ( none her fault she says! ), her family did not speak for over 20 years, then to top it off her partner of 20 years left with another woman. She was devastated but rather than take antidepressants as her doctor suggested, she wrote her own prescription ... ANTIZAC - A joyful prescription for the unhappiness epidemic.
In 2001 she declared herself to be the worlds first Joyologist, an inspired thought that came in a conversation with a South Australian magician! It came as " OMG....we have radiology, pathology, haematoloy...but no Joyology! I am going to be a Joyologist! " The journey since then has been profound, one of paradox and synchronicity
